Pair high-end design with vintage cuvees and contemporary cooking. All while enjoying panoramic views from the top three levels of one of London’s most iconic skyscrapers, Searcys introduces HELIX Restaurant and IRIS bar; now open to the public for the first time.
HELIX Restaurant open to the public for the very first time, offering sky-high contemporary dining at both lunch and dinner with majestic views across the city. A proud celebration of British produce in one of London’s finest landmarks, the menus put seasonal and local produce centre stage. Menu highlights include; English green asparagus, Dorset crab, grapefruit, soy and sesame and Rhug Estate Welsh lamb with bell peppers, aubergine, courgette, pepper and pine nuts.
Perched high above the city, IRIS Bar offers epic 360° views to the public, from 11am to 11pm. Previously the site of a members-only bar, IRIS is open to all; offering an extensive cocktail menu as unique as the setting whilst paying homage to the London sights and neighbourhoods that can all be spied below from The Gherkin’s distinctive position. Searcys’ expertise in exquisite champagne, English sparkling wine and cocktails, alongside unrivalled London views, make every visit to the Iris bar a celebration.
Newly open for daytime functions, the new sky-high rooms by Events at The Gherkin are ideal for dining and celebratory gatherings in the heart of The City. Sitting high above London on the 38th floor of this Norman Foster designed building, the rooms were aptly named after clouds: Alto, Cirrus, Stratus, Cumulus and Nimbus offer stunning vistas, catering excellence and impeccable service. Designed with flexibility in mind, the new rooms provide a space for small, targeted conferences for 18 delegates or larger parties of up to 100 guests. Events, private dinners or conferences at The Gherkin are lavishly catered for with bespoke breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner menus that brings to life Searcys’ passion for British produce and seasonality.
Booked individually the cloud-inspired rooms are ideal for 18 to 50 guests dependent on layout (Boardroom, Banquet, Theatre or Standing), while double rooms or whole floor booking allow for larger gatherings of up to 130 guests. Each rooms offer multiple screens, lapel mics and docking stations, as well as an on-site engineer on hand to ensure presentations go smoothly.
